I'm building Elani's Beta Reader/ARC/Street Team from the ground up as a new author.  So I'm calling out into the internet ether for readers who who love the genre, BIPOC Romance. I'm really not sure what to call it, but I can tell you that I write Black Love with People of Colour as the main leads and supporting characters.

So far, I've focused mainly on African American settings with the Love on the Way and Thugs N Roses series. But for 2024, I will be branching out into new novel worlds where my characters will have multicultural backgrounds. Living in Trinidad for almost twenty years in a neighborhood of all types of ethnic backgrounds, this feels more natural for me to infuse my beloved African American settings with more flavour!

My characters are still Black or People of Colour but they will be more diverse. Some will have an ethnic background including one or a mix of African American, Caribbean (Black, Spanish, East Indian), African, and Black British. Some characters will also be mixed with Caucasian. More representation, I say!

On Amazon I am listed under Black and African American Romance and Contemporary Romance but my first new release for 2024 also includes the categories New Adult/College Sports Romance/Romantic Suspense.
